Entrants to this year’s MyEvent.Vision competition have just three weeks left to submit their unique event concept for a once in a lifetime chance to see it come to life in front of their eyes.
Introduced to find fresh creative talent, the initiative is open to anyone with an original event idea. The concept has been described as ‘Dragons’ Den meets The Apprentice’ for the events industry and organisers are expecting even more entries this year and an even stronger field.
Candidates are being encouraged to spend as much time as possible making their submission the very best it can be to give their concept the best chance to pick up the £5,000 cash prize and the prospect of a freelance, full-time or part-time position with Events International Group (EIG). In addition EIG will help bring the winning event to life, with the candidate receiving a profit share in their event’s success.
“This will be a life changing experience for one lucky event professional,” said Chad Lion-Cachet, MD of Events International Group and chair of the MyEvent.Vision judging panel. “We’ve had entries in already from across the UK and from every sector of the events industry. It’s a really strong field so we want all entrants to be at the very top of their game.”
The final deadline for entries into the competition is Monday 8 February, with finalists invited to pitch their event idea to a special judging day in early March as part of UK Events Week.
