Blitz|GES, supplier of audio-visual equipment and services to the live events industry, has extended its contract with Manchester Central after winning a three-year preferred supplier deal.
The company will continue to deliver a range of technical on-site event services – including sound, lighting, video, graphics and staging – and will also invest in enhancing the venue’s purpose built auditorium. The new contract also enables Manchester Central to offer the full range of GES services.

Blitz|GES' group commercial director, Graham Pope, said: “Our partnership with Manchester Central has flourished since it began in 2008. The on-site Blitz|GES team at Manchester Central has grown in strength, with an experienced team of six, consisting of technical production managers, project managers and technicians. We are delighted to be continuing this relationship, and we will continue to reinforce Manchester Central's position as a world leading venue.”
The deal comes after Blitz|GES won contract extensions with both Olympia and ExCeL London late last year.
