has secured multi-year deals with four major national associations, which will bring at least 13,000 delegates to the city in 2017 alone.
The British Dental
Association (BDA), which has held its annual conference and exhibition at the
venue since 2012, has confirmed it will return for the next three years, while
the Pension and Lifetime Savings Association and the Royal Microscopical Society
have also committed to bring their events bi-annually until 2023 and 2021
Cardiovascular Society has also signed up to host its annual conference and
exhibition at Manchester Central until 2023, having met at the venue since
Angie Robinson, CEO
of Manchester Central, said: "Manchester Central’s unrivalled flexibility
and established reputation for hosting world-class events is a huge draw for
national associations and I’m delighted that they continue to choose the venue
to host their major conferences and events year-on-year. Securing future
business is always a priority and we look forward to welcoming both new and
returning associations to the venue in coming years."
The wins come as
Manchester Central prepares to become the venue north of England to host the
Association of British Professional Conference Organisers’ Excellence Awards
later this year.
