Assessing risk at pitch stage and compiling crisis management planning tools will be discussed at a London workshop hosted by Micebook and London & Partners.

The inaugural event, the first of many workshops organised by the two organisations, will take attendees through the resources available at pitch stage and help them compile practical risk assessments.

The event will include advice and tips from organisers who have faced emergency situations requiring them to implement crisis management plans.

Micebook founder Chetan Shah said: "Risk assessment and crisis management continue to be hot topics for event organisers in 2017. Crisis management plans are a vital element in any event organiser’s toolkit. Having a robust plan in place can help you take decisive action should you be faced with an unexpected situation.

"Delegates will hear from corporate and agency planners as well as industry experts on how they can spot potential risks and implement their own crisis management processes. They’ll come away from this workshop armed with a deeper knowledge of these issues plus ideas, resources and processes which they can use to help improve their own crisis management plans."

The event is the first in a series of regional sessions on crisis management, with later events taking place in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

The invitation-only London event will take place on 2 February at Smith & Wollensky in Covent Garden. To register your interest visit http://mustbeonit.com/news/crisis-management/ or email info@micebook.com.
