Lime Venue Portfolio is plugging the value of summer events as it launches its annual campaign, while also encouraging eventprofs to maintain an active lifestyle.

The campaign, called Step Up for Summer, will promote the value of training, conferences and parties in a series of print, social media and mobile elements, while also encouraging teams to take part in a series of step challenges.

Teams are being encouraged to register the number of steps taken during an industry event or conference for a chance to win a pair of trainers every month. Among those taking up the challenge are Lime Venue Portfolio key account director Julia Simpson, who will measure her activity during the Special Events Charity Forum Event at HMS Belfast, and the events team at Aston Villa FC, while they run a showcase day.

Jo Austin, sales director, Lime Venue Portfolio, said: "As ever with our summer campaigns, we’re mixing incentives with information and a splash of fun. We’ve seen a lot of our customers embracing sport, health and fitness, so we’re giving them the chance to win a pair of trainers in our ‘step challenge’. In the meantime, we’re working with them to get the most value out of their summer events programme, be it a conference, a team building exercise or a celebratory drinks reception."

The ‘Step Up for Summer’ campaign kicks off in April and runs until August 17. For more information on the summer promotional offers available, event professionals should go to
