Hitachi Rail Europe appoints creative agency to deliver its annual summer party for fourth year

Shelton Fleming has been called on for the fourth successive year to produce Hitachi Rail Europe's renowned annual celebration this July.

The creative agency will deliver the event in a festival-themed summer party for the Japanese conglomerate company, to help it thank its employees, customers and suppliers. The event is also aimed at showcasing the company's new rail developments.

Jonathan Gartside, project manager Shelton Fleming, said: "We needed to outdo ourselves from the previous year’s speakeasy theme which took place behind the hidden laneway in Shoreditch with live Jazz, blackjack tables and an interactive wall with the details of their new intercity trains, entering service in late 2017."

The party will take place in a Grade 1-listed warehouse in East London and involve 250 high-profile guests. Shelton Fleming will arrange for street food stalls, an acoustic band and DJ, photo booths and cocktails.
