FIRST has attained 14th position in the UK's Best Workplaces for medium sized companies after driving a "transformational change".

The agency, which rebranded from First Protocol last year, was named as one of the leading examples in the list compiled by Great Places to Work, which assesses companies by a culture audit and online survey.

FIRST managing director Mark Riches said: "Attracting, developing and retaining top talent is critical for our agency. Over the last twelve months we’ve driven transformational change, from the breadth of our capabilities, the size and expertise of our teams, and the scale and diversity of our client base. We believe that hiring and supporting the best talent has been instrumental in driving this change. Following our Investors In People Gold Award in 2015, we wanted to continue to benchmark our talent management against the best, not just in our industry but across the UK."

Sarah Cox, head of talent for FIRST London, added: "Our achievement of 14th place is fantastic. We’re all delighted by the recognition, and importantly, we now have valuable insights from our teams to help us to continue to improve on becoming an even better place to work."

The nomination also follows FIRST's New York offices being named as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Events by Event Marketer.
