Inntel is helping three local sport associations to kick goals by coming on board as sponsor, part of its recent 2020 Vision.

The Colchester-based events management company has signed on as lead sponsor in Colchester Sports Personality of the Year Award, as well as supporting the U7s team at Bures United Football Club and the League Two football team, Colchester United FC, this season.

The agreements form the company's 2020 Vision business strategy, a three-year plan that will focus on key targets for growth, including corporate social responsibility.

Douglas O’Neill, CEO at Inntel said: "We’ve experienced impressive growth in both size and revenue over the past few years at Inntel, for which we are incredibly thankful, so it’s a pleasure to be able to invest some of our efforts back in to our local community. As a company, we are always seeking to recognise and give opportunity to local talent through employment and work-based prospects, so it’s fantastic to be able to acknowledge and celebrate the sporting endeavours of those within our local region too."

Jon Hearnden of Bures United added: "We are really appreciative for the generosity shown by Inntel in sponsoring Bures United U7s team as they look forward to spending their first season in the Colchester & District Youth League. Supporting grassroots football is important for so many reasons and being able to provide the team with nice equipment makes their journey as individuals and a team even more exciting."
