Adlib Audio saw turnover hit £10m and pre-tax profit increase to £569k this year.

The AV supplier, with offices in Liverpool and Glasgow, saw pre-tax profit rise from £491k in 2016 to £569k this year.

And turnover was up from £8.4m in 2016 to £10.1m in 2017, according to accounts filed at Companies House for the year ended 30 April 2017.

The strategic report accompanying the accounts said: “The directors believe that the company has achieved a satisfactory result for the year under review in the light of prevailing trading conditions.

“The directors plan to continue to develop the existing activities of the company.”

The directors recommended and paid dividends of £153k during the year.

Writing on the firm’s website, a spokesperson said: “2016 was a remarkable year for us with the success of International Festival of Business in Liverpool, numerous tours, outdoor events and festivals plus the opening of the new Glasgow offices.

“While we have grown to over 120 staff, we never forget our roots; our clients rely on their trusted technical partner to deliver consistently, reliably and with personal attention to detail.”
