International Confex targeting corporate turnout in 2018

Exhibition is looking to position itself as the UK’s primary meeting point for corporate buyers

International Confex is targeting the highest volume of corporate businesses and brand visitors in the show’s history for its 2018 edition.

The exhibition, which runs 28 February - 1 March 2018, is seeing a continued rise in attendance as well as pre-registration among corporate buyers.

This year’s International Confex showed audited figures up 36 per cent on the 2016 show, with corporate buyers a major contributor to this growth. Now the exhibition is looking to position itself as the UK’s primary meeting point for corporate buyers to meet event management agencies, as well as high quality services, destinations and venues.

“The corporate market is hugely important to our exhibitors, and we’re delighted with the growth and return rates of these visitors,” comments Liz Agostini, event director, International Confex. “This is an audience that is attracted by great education; they do not want to be sold to in pre-arranged meetings, and would rather walk the aisles looking for information and inspiration.”

Confex is also curating educational content as part of the industry’s largest conference programme; allowing brand representatives to listen to their peers discuss the relevance of events as part of wider business and marketing activity.
