Sequoia Partnership has launched VeDi, the world’s first online diagnostic tool designed exclusively for venues.

VeDi has been designed with input from leading venues and event professionals to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas of development within a venue. In addition, the tool will provide recommendations on how to sustain and grow existing business.

“Ultimately, we’ve created VeDi to be a cost-effective solution for venues looking to develop, analyse and improve their business plans,” said Samme Allen, MD of Sequoia Partnership; “It grows in value as a benchmarking tool, allowing venues to measure their growth and success year on year, and is something I wish I had been able to access when I was managing venues.”

Users go to www.myvedi.com and complete a series of questions across five sections, which then generates a personalised report detailing the venue’s comparative performance along with key recommendations for improvement.

Gary Payne, director of One Great George Street in London, said: “The process was very easy and quick to complete with simple concise questions and the final report has really helped us develop our strategy. Most venues don’t have the time or budget for expensive consultancy fees, so using VeDi™ means venues can take more ownership of their strategy.”
