TCE Group, owners of London.DMC, Liverpool.DMC and Manchester.DMC, has appointed Anthony Hyde as director of its new northern office. Hyde will play a big role in TCE Group’s drive to expand its events and incentive offering outside of the capital.

As director of TCE’s northern office Hyde will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with leading destinations and venues across the UK. He will also focus on the delivery of Manchester and Liverpool’s growth strategy.

Hyde said: “TCE is a well-respected, dynamic, client focused company and I am delighted to become a permanent part of their management team. I am looking forward to supporting their ongoing growth as we continue to deliver creative events for a host of clients from around the world.”

Hyde joins the team permanently, having spent the last year working as a consultant on TCE’s development strategies. After 14 years at London’s Barbican, including five years as general manager, he has also worked as a consultant alongside Trinity Conferences and Sequoia Partnership. Hyde has also been president of MPI UK & Ireland and served on the MPI Foundation European Council for three years. He is a long-standing member of ABPCO’s executive board.

“Anthony brings unrivalled venue experience to the TCE management team,” said Bill Prosser, MD of TCE Group. “He has already supported us through a strong growth phase and I look forward to the impact his leadership will have on our northern team. Our clients are constantly seeking creative ways for us to meet their needs – Anthony’s appointment will broaden our offering to ensure we achieve this.”
