Venues and Events International is expanding as it aims to turnover £20 million in 2020.

The Wiltshire-based venue finding and event agency has kicked off the new with a host of new starters and new clients as it looks to get set for growth.

Chief executive Anita Lowe said: “We’ve expanded with new clients such as Sage and MAN Truck & Bus, so we’re bringing in two new account directors to look after our existing clients and to manage the new ones.

“We’ve recruited more event managers, as we’re finding that a lot of clients are now actually forward thinking events. The pipeline is a lot more positive and there seems to be stability in the market.

“We’re three years in and we’re forecast to be looking to turnover £20 million in 2020. As a result we’re making sure that we have the infrastructure and the team have that ability to have the scale.

“Our strategy is that we’re a bespoke consultative agency where we really understand our clients’ brand and strategy. We get under the skin of clients and we’re seen as a complete support.”

Among the new starters James Kent joins as account director, while Alex Shipman and Olivia Unsworth join as event manager and junior event manager respectively. Nicola Reynolds is the new head of finance and Lynn Gammage takes up financial controller duties.
