PCMA and unite to enhance education at 2018 European Association Summit

PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) has announced it is to work with to enhance the education programme of the sixth European Association Summit (EAS), taking place in Brussels on 8-9 March 2018.    

PCMA will support in the development of the event’s educational elements, as well as providing speaker and moderator support, while leads the strategy, communications, structure and format of the event. On the second day of the event, PCMA will present a topical session entitled The Age of Business Event Engagement: An Audience Centric Approach to Building Community.

Luca Favetta, PCMA regional business director, EMEA, said: “We are looking forward to working with and partners to deliver an invaluable education programme at this year’s EAS. Since the appointment of our European Advisory Board at last year’s Convening Leaders event in Austin, we have done significant research behind the scenes to fully understand the needs of the region and look at innovative ways to provide tailored education from Europe, for Europe.”

Favetta is leading PCMA’s focus on the education needs of event professionals in Europe. Building on the success of last year’s Knowledge Exchange events in London and Barcelona, PCMA will have the opportunity to share knowledge and consult with industry leaders in Brussels.
