ITV chair Bazalgette among keynotes at EVCOM show

The full agenda for the event at Tobacco Dock on 17 May also includes keynote speakers from Google UK and Sony

ITV executive chairman Sir Peter Bazalgette and Google UK director Craig Fenton are among the keynote speakers at EVCOM’s annual conference.

Bazalgette is one of the most influential people in British television, having been responsible for shows including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and Changing Rooms.

Wayne Garvie of Sony Pictures is the third keynote at the conference, where the importance of creative leadership in this time of rapid technological change is top of the agenda.

The full programme for the event at Tobacco Dock on Thursday May 17 will see brands such as HSBC, Barclays, GKN and Amadeus join the client panel to give their views on the future integrated communications agency of choice.

Additional speakers and facilitators include founders, principals and directors of agencies including Fresh, Touch, Smyle, drp, Sledge and Top Banana.

So far 50 companies have registered to attend the event.

Dominic Bemrose from The Turner Agency said: “I’m excited to get insights on the current state of the industry from both the agency and the client perspective. I’m looking forward to finding out how creativity can be used in synergy to new technology”.

Polly Stobinski from Top Banana said: “There are so many great speakers and panel discussions planned for this year and we’re really looking forward to getting involved in The Great Debate. It’s such a great opportunity for us to meet people in the industry as well as learning more about event technology and the future landscape for us as an agency.”
