EMA panel to address creativity and play

The Event Marketing Association is to tackle creativity and playfulness in events at next panel discussion

Creativity and playfulness in events planning is top of the agenda at the Event Marketing Association's (EMA) next panel discussion.

The discussion will take place at the IET Savoy Place on Monday 30 April. Hannah Luffman from Unicorn Events will be leading the discussion on creativity and play.

Luffman has worked in events for 10 years in both corporate and agency positions before starting creative event management agency Unicorn Events in 2016.
Now running a European wide agency, she is looking to continue expanding Unicorn's global footprint and championing young women and diversity in the travel and events industry.

Luffman's specialist knowledge topics include creativity and design as well as event operations and planning. She is director of education for ILEA UK and a guest lecturer at the University of Greenwich.

The topics for discussion will include early years foundation education and whether utilising colours and sounds can help too stimulate the mind and help us retain information. Questions raised will include: "Does our learning process evolve as we grow up or should we really be playing in the sandpit?"

Luffman will discuss why you can't maximise your creative output if you aren't given enough time to play and why creative event environments are essential to achieving objectives.
