Event Marketing Association partners with Annual Exchange 2018

Association partners with so-called 'unconforence', billed as the first of its kind for UK event professionals

The Event Marketing Association (EMA) will be the official association partner of the inaugural Annual Exchange 2018 at the Vox Conference Centre Birmingham on Thursday 19 July.

The so-called 'unconforence', billed as the first of its kind for UK event professionals with attendees driving the content on the day, is being held in collaboration with event organisers and networks EventHuddle and The Future in 15 Show, as well as the industry-wide mentoring programme Elevate.

Annual Exchange 2018 event director Helen Moon said: “The alliance with EMA as our official association partner really drives home the essence of the Annual Exchange. EMA’s belief that ‘collective knowledge and experiences will always be greater than one’ combined with their commitment to education, knowledge sharing, best practise, mentoring and networking goes hand in hand with the key objectives and deliverables of our exciting inaugural event and we are honoured to welcome and be partnering with their executive committee and members.”

EMA chairman Richard Waddington added: “The Annual Exchange concept is innovative and evolutional – inviting eventprofs from around the country to come together to discuss issues and subjects that are important to them, giving the attendee the power to drive the discussion, shape the content from the offset thus maximise the value to you as the attendee. We’re excited to be part of this exciting new event.”
