Cvent set to acquire QuickMobile

Acquisition of Vancouver-based mobile event app firm expected to close this month

Cvent is set to acquire Canadian mobile event app firm QuickMobile.

The acquisition of Vancouver-based QuickMobile, with its 100 employees, aims to broaden and deepen Cvent’s mobile event app and onsite solution capabilities and help the company extend its reach in the marketplace. The acquisition is expected to close before the end of May 2018.

Together, the combined entity serves more than 25,500 customers, including 80 per cent of the Fortune 100, and has delivered 16.7 million app downloads.
