International Live Events Association names new board

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) has announced its international board of governors for 2018-19.

Sara Grauf, senior vice president of events for San Francisco Giants, will serve as president, while Jennifer Trethewey, MD of Australia-based The JT Group is president-elect.

Members come from the US, Canada and Australia. The role of the board is to govern, establish policy and make strategic decisions about the future of the organisation.

“It is my pleasure to announce the 2018-2019 ILEA Board of Directors. We are thrilled to have such a strong leadership base and exceptional group of event professionals to lead ILEA into 2019 and beyond,” said Christie Pruyn, ILEA executive director. “I am confident that this year’s Board of Directors have the insight and experience to help ILEA achieve its goals and thrive for years to come.”
