Banks Sadler ‘over the moon’ with Allergan win
Banks Sadler has been appointed by global health care company Allergan to act as its sole venue finding agent.
Allergan, which is headquartered in Irvine, California, has also added Banks Sadler to its event management roster.
Leigh Jagger, CEO at Banks Sadler, said the agency was "over the moon" with the win. “We are already working on the first event with Allergan to be held early 2010, whilst the centralised venue sourcing service commenced mid-November,” she said. “Consolidation of Allergan’s event spend and a closer working relationship across their agency supplier base will definitely offer the costs savings and the quality guarantee that Allergan are looking for.”
Ronan Carter, head of procurement at Allergan, said the pharmaceutical company no longer wanted to work with just one full-service events agency but allocate specific tasks to the most relevant partners.
“After a full market tender, we selected Banks Sadler for sole venue-finding because their thoroughness to the sourcing process and ongoing supplier base optimisation represented the best possible commercial and quality outcome for our bookers,” he said. “This was backed up by solid references, a great client list and a personable team fitting well within the culture of Allergan."
