Events by TLC opens two new offices in Germany and Belgium

06/07/2012

Event and destination management company Events by TLC, whose main offices are in Lisbon and São Paolo, has signed up new partners in Germany and Belgium. The German partner, Petra Schlosser/PSnetwork Marketing & PR, is in Egmating near Munich, while the Belgian one, Ria Mooijaart & Partners, is in Ooike near Gent.

Events by TLC has seen interest in its Brazil offerings rise because of that country’s upcoming hosting of the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, while its Portuguese business has long seen interest from the automotive sector, especially from Germany. In 2010, the company, which also has an office in London, handled 80 events with a total of 11,000 delegates.

Diogo Assis, Events by TLC’s chief executive, commented: “We know the demand for Portugal and Brazil exists, and by appointing Petra and Ria and their teams, we can better serve these markets with two strong local offices. It also means we are able to offer the choice of long-haul and short-haul options as a result of operating in two continents.”
