Data to make events more effective for Amex Meetings & Events clients

Partnership with DoubleDutch to equip meeting planners with a complete set of metrics for performance analysis

American Express Meetings & Events has teamed up with event technology provider DoubleDutch to offer its customers an “end-to-end integrated meetings experience”.

It will offer DoubleDutch’s event app to all clients and feed insights gleaned from interactions with attendees into an online dashboard. These will combine with Amex Meetings & Events’ own quantitative metrics to offer meeting planners a complete ‘snapshot’ of performance, during a single event or over the course of multiple events.

Metrics reported include event cost, savings, and length; attendee population, interest metrics, and sentiment measures; and app interaction metrics, among others.

Issa Jouaneh, vice president, American Express Meetings & Events, said the new facility would enable meeting owners to better assess the total return on their events investment and identify which levers to adjust to enhance the effectiveness of their meetings program going forward.
