Luxury Hotel Group hopes to boost event business at 150 member hotels

A hotel sales consortium has launched its own events agency in a bid to drive incremental revenue to its membership of more than 150 hotels.

Luxury Hotel Group (LHG) has member hotels in destinations around the world, including 36 in London. The new agency ‘Luxurist Events’ will offer a broad sweep of services and experiences across the event, travel and concierge sectors.

Vivek Thadhani, VP sales and marketing, Luxury Hotels Group, said: “Our unique services, such as accommodation and group bookings, private jet travel, corporate sports hospitality and private film screenings, are geared towards the needs of high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. 

“Our focus is to ensure that our member hotels and clients both benefit from their association with us. We would welcome a conversation with hoteliers on how we can help them generate new and relevant business from markets or avenues they have not previously targeted.”

A party to launch Luxurist Events, held at member property The Montcalm Marble Arch, was attended by more than 350 guests, including England cricketers Monty Panesar and Owais Shah.
