Drp adds three new comms roles

New positions part of growth strategy, and comes in response to client demand

Drp has created three new positions in its communications team as a response to company growth.

With a higher demand for the creative communications services, drp has devised three new positions, with Ben Barnes joining as digital and communications project specialist, Raven Brookes as content marketer and sub editor and Nisha Withers as comms services manager.

Dale Parmenter, CEO at drp, said: "Drp has seen a notable increase in demand for not only our communications services, but services across the company. It is essential for us to maximise on this by bringing in the brightest and most determined individuals to maintain our expertise in all areas of the business. It will always be essential to us to employ people who have the ‘anything is possible’ mind-set inherent in their work ethos, which drp upholds.”

Barnes has been in the digital and communications industry for more than 22 years, having founded marketing and design agency NinetyFiveCreative and worked with clients including Diageo, GSK, Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire and Gucci.

He said: “I’m very excited to be at drp. It's a fantastic business and a great example of not only how to be innovative and creative, but also how to be be open, honest, and trustworthy to employees and clients.”

Brookes will be delivering branded content for drp clients and working collaboratively with the rest of the creative team, while Withers will be project managing the communications team’s tasks and projects. Withers has 20 years’ experience in the design industry having co-owned a design agency and freelanced across the West Midlands.

Drp’s expansion is expected to continue to expand organically during 2017, seeing further growth in all areas of the business.
