Bidding begins in Meeting Needs charity auction

Meeting Needs auction is raising funds for industry charity ahead of the EVCOM Industry Awards and MIMA 2017

A holiday to Barcelona, helicopter flying lessons and a cookery school experience are just some of the prizes up for grabs for the Meeting Needs EVCOM MIMA Auction.

The auction is in aid of the industry charity Meeting Needs and has already raised more than £2,000. It will run until 9pm on Thursday 16 November. There are more than 30 lots to choose from donated by supporters within the events industry.

Each year, funds raised by the auction help Meeting Needs provide direct and life-changing support to children and communities worldwide. Earlier this year the charity celebrated reaching £1 million in income raised and helping more than 145 causes since it was founded 14 years ago.

The Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) was launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry.

The MIMA 2017 presentation ceremony will take place during The EVCOM Industry Awards on 17 November 2017 at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, London.
