Team Challenge Company has moved into a new, larger head office following the most successful year in its history.

The corporate events and team building business’s move to a new 1,500sqm office in Fife has been facilitated by an expected 25 per cent increase in profits this financial year.

The growth has been driven by Team Challenge Company’s new partnership with international team building organisation Catalyst Global, which gives it the exclusive rights to sell and distribute all 174 Catalyst Global products in Scotland, as well as rights to the English market.

Since signing the deal with Cataylst Global, Team Challenge Company has seen a 15 per cent increase in enquiries, with 8 per cent coming from overseas businesses. The team building firm will now focus on building upon this success and is forecasting to deliver more than 450 corporate events in 2018 alone.

Gerard Crowley, co-director at Team Challenge Company, said; “It is very exciting to witness the progress of the business and to recognise the opportunities that lie ahead. Over the next year, our goal is to increase the size of events that we deliver whilst still maintaining the very personal service that we offer to our clients.

“The new premises are fantastic, and will allow us to work more efficiently as the team will have more space to plan and develop events. They will also allow us to purchase and store larger equipment for events such as climbing walls, segways and bungee trampolines as well as increasing our stock of Catalyst Global team building equipment. It has been a very successful year for the business and I am confident we will be able to build upon these achievements in the coming months.”

Recent months have also seen Team Challenge Company step up its use of gamification, with challenges such as ‘Peak Performance’ an interactive tablet-based game which requires teams to guide each other up Mount Everest, becoming increasingly popular.

Recent new clients include King Digital, a multi-national interactive entertainment company responsible for designing the popular game Candy Crush, sustainable technology developers Johnson Matthey and accounting firm RSM.
