Event and communications agency
drp has almost doubled its head office space after unveiling a 5,600 sqm
extension to its Hartlebury building in Worcestershire.
The company revealed
the expansion following an Easter-themed campaign "What's in the drp Egg?", which saw CEO Dale Parmenter removed the six-metre egg hiding the new space. The total investment, along with new equipment, comes to £1 million.
The new area will
consist of a construction workshop tripling the size of the current space,
which includes a self-contained loading bay, and enough capacity to build
custom sets, exhibition stands, and more complex solutions.
The rest of the
space will be separated into storage and technical preparation space, and
include two dedicated loading bays.
Dale Parmenter, CEO
at drp, said: “The new expansion has happened a lot faster than we anticipated
and it will allow us to increase our capacity, service levels, and quality for
our clients. The site is undoubtedly the largest and most comprehensive
corporate communication complex in the UK, if not Europe. This investment is
part of an on-going programme to realise our vision of being the company of
choice for presentation and communication solutions globally.”
