'Record year' for Sundial's venue finding agency as client spend hits £6.4m

SOS says rise in team building bookings and internal improvements have led to 48 per cent growth

A growth in demand for team building has been attributed to a record year for Sundial Group's venue finding agency SOS, which has reported a 23 per cent rise in client spend from £5.2 million to £6.4m.

The agency says overall growth was 48 per cent, with Sundial SOS's general manager Rebecca Carter saying other attributing factors to the results have been developing existing client relationships, investing in staff training.

Carter said: "Our focus this last year has been on nurturing client relationships and building trust. By combining client insight, brand knowledge and venue expertise we’ve been able to provide our clients with a bespoke service for both their one-off events and longer-term meeting strategies. Investment in team training - both personal development and industry training - has also had a significant impact on the service we provide our customers. We’ve also seen an increase in demand for team building in response to remote working and the advances in technology in the workplace."
