Absolute Corporate Events has made two new hires to keep pace with the firm’s rapid expansion.

James Goulder has joined from venue finding agency Exec Space in the newly created role of business development manager, while Amy Bexton has joined as an event manager from Ashfield Meetings & Events.

Goulder’s appointment will strengthen the sales strategy spearheaded by sales director Jacquie Freer, who joined last year.

He said: “I am so excited to be involved in the dynamic success story at ACE, and it’s great to be back working with old friends and colleagues Chris and Jacquie”

Bexton has been hired to work on some of the new incentive clients that the firm won last year and to work closely with MD Chris Parnham and account director Claire Okrafo-Smart pitching for even more incentive business.

Bexton said: “I am so happy to be working with a smaller agency again, it allows us to focus on true client satisfaction and real creativity, making sure our events are the best they can be. I’m especially glad to be back with Chris and Claire who I worked with at Zibrant.”

Owner and MD Parnham said: “2015 has been the most exciting and rewarding year of my professional life, and each new win makes me more determined to keeping pushing ahead, driving to create something really special; an agency that is made up of the best talent, the nicest people, the most loyal clients and partners and an appetite to do our very best.

“I have always had the greatest of respect and admiration for Amy and James, and I’m so lucky to have them on board. I truly believe that nice people do great business, and above all else, my immediate and extended team at ACE are the nicest people in the industry.”
