Agency challenge gives event organisers a flavour of Sweden

26/06/2012

A group of event organisers were given a real taste of Sweden yesterday when they took part in the ‘Meet Eat Compete SweDish’ agency challenge at Sundial Group’s Highgate House in Northampton.

The 30 organisers, from companies including MCI UK, P&MM, BI Worldwide, Zibrant and Accomplished Events, were pitted against each other in teams through various challenges,
including a canapé challenge with a Swedish chef, making traditional midsummer floral head wreaths and solving the ‘sword in the stone’ team building quiz. The team from P&MM triumphed, with team members winning a trip to Gothenburg.

The event - organised in conjunction with M&IT magazine, Visit Sweden and its partner hotels and convention bureaux - also included a Swedish smorgasbord lunch and a barbecue in the evening.
