BI Worldwide extends global footprint with Latin America office

Events agency BI Worldwide has strengthened its full-service capability in Central and South America through a partnership with Miami-based SparkTran LLC. The new partnership, in which BI has made "substantial investment", has been rebranded BI Worldwide Latin America.

 

SparkTran organises sales incentive, employee motivation and consumer loyalty solutions and employs around 30 people. Its president and CEO, Joel Milgram, said: “The partnership forges an organisation that combines local know-how, long-term financial stability and a global footprint that allows us to provide the kind of employee, consumer and channel solutions that businesses are seeking both nationally and internationally.”

 

Formerly, BI Worldwide organised events and incentives in Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, in co-operation with Latin destination management companies.

 

Mike Davies, managing director BI Worldwide Europe, said: “Our investments mean we deliver consistent standards and practices right across the world for client’s employee, sales and channel engagement programmes. Technology is driving changes across the world where we have seen, and foresee, a significant growth in the needs of clients to literally ‘think globally and act locally’.”

 

The new operation complements existing BI Worldwide operations in AustraliaCanadaChinaIndia, the UK, Europe and the USBI Worldwide is part of £250m US-based firm Schoeneckers Inc and employs more than 1,000 people.
