Healthcare giant Bayer has extended its UK venue finding contract with Ashfield Meetings & Events.

The Ashby de la Zouch-based agency sourced, negotiated and contracted more than 600 meetings on behalf of Bayer in 2015, and has been given a two-year extension to the current preferred supplier deal with the global company that specialises in the life sciences of healthcare and agriculture.

Ashfield’s service was measured against key performance indicators and benchmarked against other agencies in a ‘detailed’ procurement process.

Venue finding business director Louise Goalen said: “As with many of our life science and healthcare clients, our experience in providing compliant venue finding services in a changing regulatory environment is a key factor in the successful partnership. We also regularly review our processes to ensure they are optimised to deliver significant savings to Bayer. The team are delighted with the news and excited about continuing to explore ingenious ways to add value to the services we provide.”
