Blackberry Productions has targeted hitting £1.5 million turnover in the next 12 months as the Worcestershire-based agency enjoys steady growth.

The company marked by its fifth anniversary by reporting a 57 per cent increase in turnover to £1.1m for the year ended 31 March 2016, comfortably beating the goal of £1m set by directors Steve Elliott and Jackie Butler last year. The company is also expecting gross profit to hit £375k.

Director Jackie Butler said: “We are now half way into a 10 year plan that is based on steady and consistent growth rather than overnight success. Client prospects are carefully selected by the new business team to ensure a close fit with our values and approach to business."

Following years of steady growth 2015 was a year of consolidation during which the firm moved offices and recruited team members. The business is now preparing to push on with the growth plan in 2016/17 with the recruitment of a new client relationship manager a priority.

Butler added: “For the next 12 months we have set our sights on growing sales to £1.5m keeping a careful eye on maintaining healthy margins to enable us to continue to invest in our team and the business.”
