Blueprint Partners will deliver the Amnesty International UK (AIUK) national conference and AGM for the 18th time this week.

The Putney-based events company will move the voting process online for the first time this year, as well as provide logistical project management and oversee the content and plenary production for the 560 attendees.

Emma Head, the Blueprint senior event manager delivering the project, said: “Working with a client for this period of time allows us to really understand their needs and requirements. This year we’ve worked in close partnership with Amnesty to facilitate the digitisation of the membership voting, transforming the previously manual process.”

The conference, which involves taking votes from AIUK members on a range of issues, takes place this weekend in Nottingham, at the East Midlands Conference Centre.

It comes after Blueprint Partners announced it was expanding its events, production and video team, which will be led by former head of video and production, Mark Anand.

The company decided to create the new, larger department from its former separate teams of event management and logistics, event production and video production.

Anand said: "The expansion of this team allows us to cost effectively bring the innovative presentation technology we already use and introduce it more broadly into the delegate journey."

Upcoming projects for the new team include the ChildLine Ball, 40 driving events for Audi and international conferences in Miami, Barcelona and Budapest.
