Brazilian agency merges with events by tlc

Sao Paulo and Portuguese agencies combine to target key markets in Iberian-American trading bloc

Sao Paulo-based live events agency Case Imagine has merged with Portuguese destination management company events by tlc to form a company with a global outlook.

The creation of Case by tlc is part of a strategy to widen the service offering across key markets in the Iberian-American trading bloc in seven locations and brings together 150 event professionals.

Group CEO Diogo Assis says the merger allows Case Imagine to expand into Lisbon and Madrid, serving the domestic markets of Portugal and Spain, while events by tlc expands into Florida to serve international clients.

"Both companies share a similar ambition to be the best through creative solutions, innovation, talented teams and high levels of customer service," he said.

"As the market has developed and the needs of clients changed we have seen the demands for a wider service offering and this has been one of the key drivers for expansion. The ability to offer more services to a broader range of clients results from this merger."

Events by tlc will focus on the incoming services for international meetings and incentives and events whilst Case Imagine focuses on live marketing, content creation, web and social media, video marketing and will also be the brand for sports events as a new discipline.

Carlos Arruda, CEO Americas added: "Events by tlc in Brazil will continue to handle international inbound clients to Brazil whilst Case Imagine will handle the delivery of live events, digital, video and communication programmes in Brazil.
