CTI partners with Air Refund for delay compensation

Travel management firm signs deal to make it easier for clients to claim for delayed and cancelled flights

Travel management firm CTI has partnered with compensation service Air Refund.

CTI hopes the deal will make it simpler for business travellers to claim compensation for flight delays and cancellations. 

Clive Wratten, CTI chief executive, said: “We have identified the need for clients to easily claim for disrupted flights, and we are pleased to be the first independent UK travel company to offer this service.

“Our airline partners deliver an efficient and trouble-free service the vast majority of the time. With compensation as an entitlement by law for every passenger, we are simply enabling our clients to claim easily when disruption occasionally happens.”

According to CTI research, 5 per cent of its clients’ flights are affected by delay or cancellation. Travellers will be able to claim compensation on delayed or cancelled flights depending on distance flown.
