Conference and event venue catering company Levy Restaurants has put sustainable fish at the top of the agenda.

The company, which operates in venues such as Hever Castle in Kent and The Hydro at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, has pledged to buy, serve and promote only sustainable fish at all of its outlets.

By signing up to the Sustainable Cities Fish Pledge, Levy has committed to: making its policy public, monitoring the environmental sustainability of seafood it serves, sourcing sustainable seafood and influencing wider progress on the issue.

Levy MD Colin Bailey said: “It’s just brilliant to have signed up to the Sustainable Fish Cities Pledge, giving our customers confidence that the fish we serve at any of our locations is sustainably sourced and ensuring we are playing our part to enable people to enjoy fish for generations to come.”
