Citroën appoints Crown two years running

Crown to deliver 2016 conference, which will include a multi-sensory experience

Crown has been appointed to deliver the 2016 Citroën National Dealer Conference, following the production of the car dealer's 60th anniversary conference last year.

The communications and live events agency will design, produce and manage the 2016 event, which will include a unique "multi-sensory experience" that helped Crown win the pitch. The conference will take place at ArenaMK in Milton Keynes later this month.

Simon Hambley, director of live at Crown, said: “We’re extremely pleased to be working again with Citroën on their National Dealer Conference. We’ve received great feedback from last year’s conference and still continue to do so 12 months down the line, so that’s testimony to the impact our concept has had in delivering Citroën’s objectives, keeping audiences engaged, and retaining key messages.”

The 2015 conference, a milestone year for Citroën as it celebrated its DS brand's 60th anniversary, was designed to showcase the automotive brand's heritage.

Crown put together a "technically-challenging" event concept which encompassed the exhibition space at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena, and an LED display that brought to life the 'story selling' approach.
