Conference Care directors launch online booking site

Chris Peacock, Andrew Deakin and Ian Hancock launch to address short lead times for small meetings

Client demand for small-sized meetings with short lead times has prompted Conference Care directors Chris Peacock and Andrew Deakin to launch a new booking platform.

The agency directors, along with digital director Ian Hancock, have announced they will launch on 3 May, coining it the "simplest and quickest way to booking a meeting room online".

The site allows venues to market empty and late meeting rooms with no upfront costs, charging a marketing fee once a space is sold. Pricing will be based on a standardised day delegate package, not room hire basis.

Director Chris Peacock said: “The question for us has always been; can you make the booking of a meeting room a transactional process? The answer is yes, but it takes a lot of hard work to keep it simple. With you’ll be able to find all the availability with four clicks. The system is built to work with mobile devices and is just like an app in look and feel.

“One day meetings for less than 30 delegates with a lead time of less than three weeks make up 40 per cent of enquiries at Conference Care – that’s over 4,000 events a year - just for us! There had to be a better way of finding a short notice meeting room, and now there is.”
