Venue sourcing and event management agency Conference Care has held a mini-expo for venues that included Center Parcs, Silverstone and the London Film Museum to bolster and improve working relationships.

The Coventry-based agency’s director Andrew Deakin spoke to representiatives from venues and held an open forum in which suppliers had the opportunity to engage in a question and answer session in order to gain a greater depth of understanding and awareness at operational level.

Members of the Conference Care Team then met with the venues individually to network and share news and information.

Other venues in attendance included Mandeville Hotel London, Missenden Abbey, Ashorne Hill, Doyle Collection, Three Ways House, Cotswold Inns, The Elvetham, Harewood House and Elite Hotels.

David Young, business development director at Aspire Group (Silverstone), said: “It was refreshingly engaging for the director to invite open and honest questions from the venues attending. The Conference Care team were genuinely attentive and happy to give their time. Overall it was an incredibly valuable morning.”

Conference Care’s Deakin added: “Our mini-expos provide the opportunity to communicate openly and work in partnership with venues in key areas, with a resulting increase in both service and conversion levels. They are immensely beneficial, providing value to both our clients and the venues involved, and we are excited to continue our programme of events into 2013.”
