The German arm of Congrex, the
congress organiser and association management company, will plan events on
behalf of a university subsidiary after entering into an exclusive partnership
deal.
Congrex Germany, based in Berlin,
has penned a five-year contract with RWTH International Academy - the executive
academy of RWTH Aachen University in Dusseldorf.
The arrangement means Congrex
will organise events hosted by the university and the University Hospital
Aachen. RWTH International Academy is a
not-for-profit subsidiary of RWTH Aachen University, and offers further
education programmes for international professionals and students.
Helmut Dinger, director of RWTH
International Academy, said: “Our goal is to use our bundled skills to ensure
professional branding and execution of events organised by the RWTH Aachen
University and the University Hospital Aachen and thus expand our conference
activity.”
Stephanie Hellstedt, managing
director of Congrex Germany, added: “We look forward to working with one of the
most respected universities in Germany and are certain that both organisations
will permanently profit from this.”
