Conference hotel provider Dolce is continuing its
ongoing development with two new appointments and
the addition of three properties to its portfolio.
Director commercial and marketing regional, Karine Pinson, was
this month promoted to vice-president of sales Europe, and former Louvre Group
operations director David Anderson was brought in by the company to work
alongside Pinson as managing director for Europe.
2012 will see Dolce open its first urban hotel, the 209-room The
Alexander in Indianapolis, with next year seeing the opening of a property in
Vitel, France. In 2014 the company will branch into Lisbon with a new-build
set to capitalise on Portugal's growing dominance as an incentive destination.
Pinson said: “Our will is to
continue to increase our brand awareness across Europe in strategic locations.”
This year's International Confex saw Dolce also announce its
brand-wise initiative to offer Passkey's GroupMAX online reservation
technology to power its group operations, and provide clients with the ability to
create customised websites for any event in minutes.
Pinson added: “We are wanting to stay on top of the game and
be the first to put these tools in place for the planner. All these iniatives
follow our mantra of 'let's get together'.”
