Drp saw revenue grow by 6 per cent to £14.5 million in 2015, while gross profit was also up by 13 per cent to £9m.

And the agency is already looking to build on that success, targeting turnover of £26m and gross profit of £15m in 2017.

Group CEO Dale Parmenter said: “We see that next year is the real bumper year. It’s already striking us that we’ve got lots of new clients and a lot of investment in facilities and products. In 2017 we’re looking at gross profit of £15m; we think that’s being fairly conservative with the new wins we’ve had. We’re also looking at turnover of £26m.

In 2015, pre-tax profit rose by 66 per cent to £606k, from £364k in 2014, according to accounts filed with Companies House for the year ending 31 December 2015.

The increases come after a year which saw drp win new clients including EE, BT, Triumph, Skanska UK and GlaxoSmithKline.

Parmenter said: “2015 was a significant year for the company, winning new business, developing new products and innovations, and broadening our international reach and celebrating the milestone of 35 years in business.

“We probably invested more than we were going to in the anniversary celebrations – that blew the marketing budget! But it was a good year all round.

“Our investment in the business was once again significant across all areas of the group, investing in new products such as the Digital Usability Lab and the unique launch of Expo Lab, which is changing the way we think about exhibitions. We also invested in our motion graphics department, becoming a significant force in the corporate world, our IT infrastructure and video platforms also had some fantastic innovations.”

29 new team members joined drp in 2015, while the firm also saw an increase in its apprenticeship, work experience and mentoring programmes. The group also became the sole UK member of the Maritz Global Network, responsible for all inbound business as well as working with global partners on international business.

Parmenter added: “2015 was another successful year, creating a brilliant foundation for 2016. The exciting developments including the doubling of our Studio 212 complex, allowing us to deliver bigger and better solutions for our clients and support our vision of ‘being the company of choice’.

“Last year was really big, this year looks to be exactly the same and next year, hopefully, will only get better.”
