Destination management company (DMC) E-voyages Group has launched an online reservations system as it celebrates its 10th birthday this month.

The UK inbound DMC says its new system, the Agent Area, is only available to the trade and will help with its expansion goals.

In its 10 years E-Voyages has grown to more than 50 staff members in its headquarters in London, along with Paris, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Edinburgh, and Montreal offices.

"Better performance is an ambition for us in the future; respecting our values and our working methods will be a must over the next 10 years. After all, this is the reason we were the first to launch such a high quality service," said founder Emmanuelle Spriet.

Emmanuelle founded E-voyages Group in 2006 and the company has since helped about 8,000 groups in the UK and Ireland, involving 150,000 people across 300 cities. The group is a member of London & Partners and UKinbound.

Emmanuelle, also on the board of directors of UKinbound since 2011, said the industry's biggest challenge in the next 10 years would be securing more government funding to better promote the UK as a destination.

"We need to work more and more closely with the tourists boards and government to ensure inbound tourism is recognised as one of the leading economic and employment drivers for the UK economy. The GREAT Britain Campaign has been a success in raising awareness of the UK as a destination but more funding is needed to promote the UK," she said.
