Seventeen venues in Edinburgh, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, have come together under the banner of ‘Unique Venues of Edinburgh’.
The new consortium consists of: Dundas Castle, Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Zoo, Festival Theatre, Hopetoun House, The Hub, Kirknewton Stables, Mansfield Traquair, Museum of Flight, National Galleries of Scotland, National Museums of Scotland, The National Trust for Scotland, Royal College of Surgeons, The Royal Yacht Britannia, The Signet and The Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre.
Commenting on the new service Carolyn Gemmell, chair of Unique Venues of Edinburgh, said: “All 17 member venues offer something extra special to meeting planners and event buyers. From enjoying a dram or two at the Whisky Heritage Centre, to a reception with Concorde as a backdrop at the Museum of Flight, or a dinner on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, we guarantee all our venues have what it takes to make any event one to be remembered.”
