EMC3 Ltd wins business school conference

15/11/2010

International business school NYU Stern has appointed Notting Hill-based destination managers EMC3 Ltd to manage their London-based 'Global Alumni Conference' in June 2011.

The biennial conference for 400 people has previously been held in Barcelona, Florence and Paris.

NYU Stern’s Sarah Marchitto said: “We were looking for a full-service firm that understood our goals and could serve as a key partner in creating and executing one of our most prestigious international events. EMC3 offered professionalism, style, discretion, dexterity, concierge services and British traditionalism - all of which were important deciding factors for us. Out of three potential firms, EMC3 was the clear choice.”

EMC3’s core services are events, marketing, creative experiences, concierge and conferencing. Clients include Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, EA Sports, Cadbury’s, ReMark, Falcon Group, Polo Ralph Lauren, Aston Martin, NBC Universal, Premier League and UK Trade & Investment.

The agency was founded in 2000 by Alistair James Graham, formerly of the Savoy Hotel and ex-Barclays Bank interest rate swaps trader Baba-Jallah Epega.

EMC3 partner Daniel Curtis said: “Winning the NYU Stern Business School conference will give us an opportunity to showcase why London, as the UK capital, is the global centre of excellence for hospitality, the personal touch and brand enhancement."
