Eccentric vintage as Story styles Heston Blumenthal launch

Agency uses vintage items and eclectic graphic designs to launch Heston from Waitrose

Story Events used eccentric drawings and vintage props to set the theme when it styled the launch of Heston Blumenthal's collaborative food line with Waitrose, Heston from Waitrose.

The London-based agency was asked to send guests on a "journey of intrigue", and used all spaces at 15 Bateman Street for the event earlier this month.

A graphic artist was enlisted to create original drawings which mimicked the design of the Heston from Waitrose products, before Story filled the venue with objects like vintage books, lampshades and candles. Each room featured a different twist, such as a gentleman's-inspired lounge for the press room.

Story Events' Bea Smith said: "The creativeness of these two large brands collaborating was an exciting project to be part of and the event space looked great, especially due to the bold and fun branding."
