Blockchain and the changes it could bring to the events industry will be the theme for the next EventHuddle.

The event, taking place at 1 Wimpole St on Thursday 19 April, will explore what blockchain is and why the world is buzzing about it at the moment, as well as looking at its potential impact on the industry.

EventHuddle founder Kirk Thomas said: "Blockchain is a big buzzword these days and with good reason. It has the potential to drastically change how the internet is structured, how we communicate and how we do business.

“Our panel are already utilising blockchain technology and so will be bringing you the information you need to stay ahead.”

Panellists include: Colin Palmer, technical director at BitTicket; Rhian Lewis, a software engineer specialising in blockchain technology; Steve Machin, pioneer of the live entertainment and ticketing sectors; and Kristian Keep, head of innovation at Acrotrend.
