Industry discussion forum EventHuddle will be looking again at social media for events at its next edition.

The discussion titled 'Social media for events part two- user generated content' takes place on Thursday 21 June in London.

EventHuddle CEO Kirk Thomas said: "Your event attendees are your greatest resource when it comes to marketing your event, each one is an Influencer to someone and in turn they to someone else. Each attendee (generally) has the ability to create/post stories, blogs, videos, pictures, ratings, reviews, recommendations, reports etc.

"Are you leveraging your audience? Are you encouraging them to create content? Are you monitoring the various media channels for content that is being created by your users? Are you rewarding those who are championing your brand? Do you know how to promote user generated content among/to/from your audience?"

The panel will include Richard Hingley, creative director - drp, Alice Chau, stratergist - Cult LDN and Ellie Hernaman, CEO - Truffle Social.

The event takes place on from 8.15am-10.30am, Thursday, June 21st, at 1 Wimpole Street, London, and will include breakfast.
