Events industry icons reveal thoughts and predictions in book

The Event Professional's Handbook to provide "event-spiration", available to download from 14 September

A collection of interviews, essays and insights from influential event industry figures will be published in a new book called The Event Professional’s Handbook.

Launched in partnership by The Experience is the Marketing and Citizen Event, the handbook has been described as a "smorgasbord of thoughts, experiences and predictions" from a number of practitioners, including Deborah Armstrong (CEO, Strong & Co), Jason Megson (MD, George P. Johnson), Sean Doyle (director of brand and creative, Clive), Simon Hughes (managing partners, MCHA Ltd), Jason Allan Scott (eventrepreneur) and several more.

Kevin Jackson, director of ideas and innovation at The Experience is the Marketing, said: "The Event Professional’s Handbook isn’t a ‘how to’ guide, but a reference point for event-spiration. Whether an event industry student or an established professional, the Handbook contains useful nuggets of information and a ‘behind-the-scenes’ insight into how this dynamic industry’s most influential people operate."

A book party launch will take place at OXO2 on 14 September.
